		<description>Hi, Christian

Pleased to hear that you arrived home safely. Very sensible to leave when weather and sea conditions are bad.

On Saturday you were quite weak in midland UK, about 5 and 3 to 5. I was unable to raise you on either band.

There are many who need EU-078 (including me) so I am very pleased that you will be trying again. You will be very busy!

Thank you for your efforts and 73

		<description>Hi all,

Saturday 6th we were able to land on the rocks, even though the sea conditions were rather unpleasant.
After about 3 hours operating on 40m and 20m band, and with about 300 stations logged, the wind raised up and the waves were hitting the islands badly.
We had to leave in a rush, and decided to try landing again on Sunday morning.

On Sunday we thought conditions would improve, but it was just the opposite. The wind turned around and made the landing impossible.

I am very sorry for those stations (specially from outside EU) who were waiting for us, but in such particular conditions one must really take care.

I will try to go there once again, and hopefully give a new IOTA reference/island to those who need it. Keep an eye on this site or on my QRZ.com profile for further information.

Meanwhile, see you next on the 2009 IOTA contest from EU-142, Mouro island. AM1M will be our call !
