Victoria SV2KBS (aka VP8YLG)

One of the YL’s currently operating from the Falkland Islands – Victoria VP8YLG (home call SV2KBS) has decided to devote the last of her days in VP8-land on 30m in cw mode. Although she’s a cw beginner, she’s very keen on providing the entity on that band and she will try to give her best in doing so.

She will try to operate on 10MHz tonight (Jan. 30) beginning at evening UTC hours until early morning UTC hours next day (Jan. 31) in split mode. Vicky is kindly asking to QRS keying a little bit as this will help her to handle pile-ups and to pick up takers’ callsigns easier. The last day of January is also her last stay in VP8-land and the day when the YL gathering ends.
