It seems that weight of the equipment is restricted when I see what antennas are to be used. The antennas for HF will do the job. BUT for 50MHz a G5RV is very useless. If weight is restricted a "Big Wheel" or a 5/8 wl vertical will do a much better job! Little gain and working all directions. If needed I can spend a vertical. AND FR/G has the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. GL and hope for a 50MHz qso. Well I read that announcement very carefully.
