Special event station GB250RB will be active between Jan 25 to Dec 31, 2009 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Rabbie Burns birth.
There will be a dedicated web-page up and running soon.
The station will be active from different locations in Scotland with links to the Bard.

Good start to Rabbie Burns Event.
Special event station GB250RB got off to a good start on Sunday when it came on-air to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Rabbie Burns birth.
3 stations, run by Kilmarnock and Loudoun Amateur Radio Club, were operating on 20, 40 and 80m.
The stations had 500+ QSO’s in approx 12 hours, with 1100 look ups on QRZ.com. Contacts came from all over Europe, VK and State side.
The call will be active again on Sunday morning 1st February on 40 and 80m.
