   Just a reminder that Jim, G3RTE and I will be active as VK9X/G6AY from Christmas Island between 20th and 27th February 2010. Christmas Island counts as OC-002 for IOTA purposes.

   The 2009 “Most Wanted” survey by the DX Magazine shows Christmas Island at #68 worldwide for DXCC purposes. Our activity will be on CW only on all bands 80-10 meters. There will be no 160 metre activity.

   Propagation permitting, we plan to have two stations on the air for as many hours every day as is possible. Our main objective is to work as many European, North American and LoTW stations on as many bands as possible.

   QSL via G3SWH, either direct with SAE and adequate return postage (recommended), via my web site for a bureau reply or via the bureau.

   There will be an on-line log at http://www.g3swh.org.uk/christmas-island.html that will be updated daily.
