In 1967, Hiram Walker and Sons began hiding cases of Canadian Club Whisky around the world. Of the 22 cases hidden, 5 remain hidden to this day. Of the 5, one is hidden on Juan Fernandez Island. If anyone wants a copy of the ad that speaks of the case hidden on the island on August 1 of 1970, please contact me. The ad gives some distinct and at the same time vague clues as to the whereabouts of the case, so only eager treasure hunters need apply.

For further information, Google: Canadian Club Hide-A-Case

Hi Hans
you must know that the dollar rate is changing.. All the way from 5 to 6,7 NOK. this was very true before the christmas and all of 2008.
Also the post office take extra fee if you send more than 10 envelopes !!! due the work to process the all the envelopes ! Norway is not Germany or France !!!

73s Rag LA6FJA

<blockquote>"What I meant to say: The infos given on their homepage are not true!
The exchange rate to the US$ is not true. Real value is $US 1 = 6.70 NOK and not 5.00 NOK! Therefore US$ 2.00 are enough to cover postage from LA to the ??rest of the world?
I agree Paul and wait for another operation from there"</blockquote>

Hello guys
No, this is not a another business expedition.

You are totally wrong or misunderstanding about this case, you have found a test webpage.

1.The webpage have coming out for and it is not finished, it was just a rough copy. Yesterday I sat for 2 hours to make it up so I could publish to the crew members. IT WAS NOT FINISHED! I published it Thursday 16th 2009.

2.We are not going to make living out of QSLing. I do all QSL via bureau 100 %, all QSL direct is replied as I was OY/LA6FJA last year.

3. It??s not prohibited to have a Donation button on the web

4. If you dont know the post taxes in Norway is really higher than other countires. so in case to not pay 1?? or 1-2 $ to return a QSL per QSO, so we announce this QSL policy, like it or not. Our experience is that people consider 1 $ is enough, but we cannot pay postage of each QSL. like we spent on earlier dxpedtions. Dollar are changing rapidly and if you are afraid of 0,5 $ dollar, the you use the bureau.

5 . yes we love to travel,if you need to rent a boat or privat aeroplance to get access to the island with heavy radio amateur equipment. Common flights have cutted down the weight today, due world climate limitation for flights.

So if you going to wait for further dxpeditions they will have same problems.
We need to ship lot of cargo 1-2 months ahead the expedition due the limitation.
CE0Z is only having shipping once per month, its no a regular tourist place which you can buy anything you like, you need to bring what you need.

We need to rent contatiner on ship for oru big stuff. Is that free ? no, thats why we put the oportunity. Try check out little bit more next time guys.

So next time take your time to investigate more before talk bad about us, the web was just on the scetch board. I do like comments please, but in correct correspodence it is better do give comment directly rather than give false info on your webblog.

If this is a disgrace or not to ham spirit, we do love ham radio and dxpeditioning and Contesting. And it is really lovely to be in the right end of the pile up, and we made S9LA few year ago and also 3G0YP-3G0YM.

We are hams and we must use the radio, dont whine around and check what other people doing wrong. Is making a bad environment and QSO procedours on radio, if you have listening on previously VK9DGW etc. lot of frequency policies and QRG Jammer??

Have a nice day, the wbe site is now updated and will be edited so its not look like what you believe :)

Good DX.

Hi
I am aware of the postage rates and so on, and trying to recup some of the cost with direct QSLing, but this should not be the only choice. Some just cannot afford it !

I don't have a problem with a DXpedition trying to recoup some costs. I don't think anyone is getting rich asking for an extra buck if someone really needs a paper card. 73, Russ

Another business expedition ?
Why do you only talk money on your page, even before giving operating frequencies for example ???
