We had to cancel our May visit to FK – Lifou Island – due to our daughter’s very serious health issues.

Why 80 excluded? New Caledonia is highly desired on 80 meters, for some reason Remi FK8CP does not like 80 meters.

FK8CP is often QRV on 80M…although not usually a very strong signal. It would be good if this expedition was planning 80M operation……

I heard FK8CP on 80 meters only once for a very short time, probably 80 meters for Asia/Europe is not his primary goal. Wish Curt and Don would concentrate on 80 meters, FK is really highly desired on 80 meters in AS/EU.
