UPDATE April 14:  We left Starbuck today after 3 days. The wind was bad and sand storms got into our equipment – in particular the laptop keyboards. We made approx 8500 Q’s. Hope you all enjoyed the chase. Propagation was better to EU at the end but western EU was still dfficult… – LINK

Major IOTA Dxpedition to the Southern Line Islands. The team comprises Steve – 9M6DXX, Steve – G4EDG, Mike – K9AJ and Derek – G3KHZ plus 5 Kiribati Government officers. They will sail on the SV Kwai  from Kiritimati approximately 17 March, 2010 returning Kiritimati approx one month later.

IOTA activity is planned from:

• OC-279 Malden Island (T32MI)
• OC-280 Starbuck Island (T32SI)
• OC-281 Caroline Island (T32CI)
• OC-282 Vostok Island (T32VI)

These 4 uninhabited IOTA groups have never been activated.
