TS8P & TS8P/P – Djerba & Kuriat IslandsSaturday Feb 06, 2010
Following on from their trip to Morocco [see left] the 5C team plus new members IC8ATA, IK8GQY, IK8BPY, IS0AGY, IW2NLC and IZ2GRG will be operational as TS8P & TS8P/P between April 27 to May 4, 2010. They will be active during this time from Djerba (AF-083) and Kuriat (AF-092). All bands/modes + 6m. QSL via IK7JWX.

There is an error in the news: I’m not the QSL manager of this DXpedition. Probably the correct call is IK7JWX (last letter X like X-ray).
Please share everywher this correction. Thanks.

Many thanks Col for the quick correction. In fact my callsign and the other one are very similar and are often confused.

The team will arrive to Djerba island 27 April evening and “may be” that the will can be active in the night (40-80-160m.).
“May be” also that will be active from AF-092 1-2 May, because we are waiting for the others autoritations.

I have bad news: I received a phone today from the Dun agent with the Minister Defance and he told me that you are not allowed to go Kuriat that after May 7 because it is used by the military in the period preceding that date on May 7.
So? you can not go Kuriat, shame!
