Vanuatu 2010 – YJ0VK Update
27th August 2010 through 2nd September 2010
The YJ0VK team is fully prepared now. We fly out of the eastern seaboard of VK on Thursday 26th August. We expect to be operational on 20mtrs by 00:00utc on 27th August. Other bands will come on-line through the day. Our vertical antennas are constructed and tested and by all accounts are working very well.
We will be placing a special focus on the WARC bands.
We have a limited station for 160mtrs but we’ll certainly have it operational each day at our sunrise and sunset.
We welcome all QSLs; please send them to the address on our web site or via the buro – the team hopes to achieve DXCC during these six days.
