UPDATE: We now have around 38,000 QSO’s in the log including 6m, 60m & 160m. The T2T online log totals also include the T2V contest effort. We are now experiencing major power problems, due to several rain storms, and will be severely limited in our abilitiy to keep the amplifiers on air, but will continue to operate the K3′s barefoot whenever possible.
September 21, 2011: Following the cancellation of the C21A Nauru expediton, Pacific DXers team members VK4AN, VK4FW, VK4NEF, NL8F, K4ZLE and W5SL now plan to be active from Tuvalu as T2T between November 11 to December 8, 2011.
Full details here.
The Nauru Dxpedition was forced to postpone after consultation with both the airline and the consulate. The new time frame for Nauru is March 2012……… more details soon.
All things are on track for Tuvulu.
Hi Bill, We from the ZLDXC group wish you all the best on T2T and will be there listening for you and the team..

wish you all the best bill for good weather and for pile-ups coming !! hope cu on 10 or 15 meters for a new one !! here T2 s still needed after 34 years of dxing ! i always help expedition when i get qsos !!have fun in sunny island !
Over the last several weeks, as many know, there have been numerous problems on some Pacific islands with water shortages. When we came to Fiji we immediately saw the necessary persons to get assurance that all our equipment would be able to go to Tuvulu. We were assured as best we could get, and told to come back on November 1 to book it all in. Well, that day came and MURPHY struck yet again..
Because of major backlogs of very urgent freight (especially water) there are some 600kgs currently waiting to go. This continually rises daily. We immediately searched for shipping by boat with no joy, then tried to charter a vessel and again with no joy. So here is what will now take place..
All operators are permitted just 23kgs of luggage and nil oversize so we will take as many antennas as possible and only two complete Elecraft K3 and KPA500 stations. If there are any positive changes then we will, of course, send more equipment as it is all in Fiji with us.
We would request the DX community have patience and try to understand that we have absolutely no choice unless we cancel the operation totally.
Meantime 3D2A by Eddie, VK4AN did a single op low power 10m in the CQWW with some 2822 QSO’s. We have also amassed over 5,500 QSO’s as 3D2T. Eric, VK4NEF arrived today so that gives us 3 ops to continue here. We have been very surprised at the 10m opening, but extremely disappointed with nil on 160 and very little on 80.
Very nice signal from 3D2A on 10m here. Hope to work you on 12 and 10m from T2. Good luck!
Please QRV for eastern EU at 05.00-07.00 UTC on 28 MHz, you are always QRT before that time.
PLEASE dont forget central EU on 10m and 12m, please try 07.00-09.00 UTC ! TNX Ben
Why You had big signal fm 3D2T on 40m CW and T2T absolutely NIL in central EU ? Tnx Michal
Hi Michal, OM3SX! I think that is the reason that Bill, VK4FW noticed in his post above – they were able to bring only part equipment that they had on Fiji. Maybe different antennas. Good luck! Andy
