UPDATE: Steve 9M6DXX informs that he again recently spoke to Pekka, OH2YY, on 17m SSB. He is now on Christmas Island and QRV as VK9XM (re-issued call). He said his first flight from Cocos (Keeling) was cancelled altogether, the second flight was delayed for “hours and hours and hours” and he flew back from Cocos (Keeling) to Perth, Western Australia, this morning, then from there back up to Christmas Island this afternoon.

Pekka OH2YY will be active from Christmas island as VK9XM on November 4th and again between the 8th and 11th.
In addition, he will be active from Cocos Keeling island as VK9CM between November 5th to 7th.
