I will be operating as 9M8Z from Sarawak (DXCC East Malaysia, IOTA OC-088) once again from 23 to 28 March, including a single-operator all-band high-power entry in the CQ WPX SSB contest.
QSL via Tim, M0URX, direct (SAE plus $2 or 1 new IRC), via the bureau, LoTW, or OQRS (see m0urx.com/oqrs).

This also counts as an entity for the ARRL Diamond DXCC award (VS5 in 1937)!
Hmmm… I recall many Q’s with Ron, VS4RS in Sarawak back in the 1960′s or so. Yes, VS4 was the prefix for Sarawak then.
Trivia: Just checed QRZ.COM for VS4RS, who appears ot now be living here in Northern California !!!
He notes on the page:
VS4 was the prefix for the colony of Sarawak prior to the formation of Malaysia when it became 9M8 in 1963 .
