UPDATE

All the CY9M team are delighted the ARRL Colvin Award Committee have become main sponsor of our expedition.
This is a prestigious award and we’d like to thank the committee for their very generous backing. To find out more about the ARRL Colvin Award, read here.
We sincerely thank and acknowledge the numerous organisations, clubs and individual donors who realise the task ahead. You, too, can help us get CY9M on air by checking out the official website.

don’t forget ” bingo ” and ” log updated ” in the cluster
Col, Mike thats awesome, can I bribe you to point the beams there in the general direction of michigan? =)
Oh goodie! Now we have to contend with NA and EU to break the pile ups………twice the fun!!!
But, at least the NA ops understand when to stop calling lol!!
Looking forward to bagging this one on any band SSB.
Thanks guys in advance for the opportunity
Derek VK4MIA – we all have our walls to climb over :-)
When the DX is in the Indian Ocean or near VK, you guys down under are pretty tough to break through :-)
Good luck!
I’ve not heard anyone mention a “VK Wall” before!
There’s hardly many of us in the antipodes. Maybe a hundred serious dx-ers tops.
We really do appreciate the DX ops giving us a bit of clear air to have a go.
Looking forward to a new one to listen out for a new one for me.
Let’s hope the propagation is kind.
Good luck!

Look forward to work the guys! Good luck for this activation.
BTW: there´s something I always wanted to know: what is the reason for St. Paul being a DXCC? I mean, nothing wrong about that since it keeps us busy chasing. But since I worked it the 1st time many years ago I couldn´t find an answer to this. Of course, there are plenty of such places with an own DXCC-Status, but anyway.
Any Idea? Tks!
Halvor
Best of luck on your trip to St Paul Island. Will you be operating near either of the two lighthouses on the island? If so, which one and will you provide the ARLHS number for that beacon on your QSL card? South Point LH = STP-001 North Point LH = STP-002.
Tnx & 73,
