With thanks to the team:
Co-leader K4UEE informs the WX has moderated making operating more comfortable. Temperatures in the OP. A operating tent hit 125 degrees F yesterday. Operators could only stay in the tent for 15 minutes at a time. Computers were periodically shut down to prevent damage.
Pretty amazing what those guys do. Especially that climbing. A heck of a lot more than just pulling up in a boat, throwing up an antenna, and starting the QSO’s. I have a deep respect for hardcore DXpeditioners like them – and how dearly I hope to be among them some day!

Exactly Brennen, and as EU Pilot for them, I can confirm that many ops really do not appreciate their efforts such is the crap I have received in emails recently.

Against VOACAP predictions for this season I am able to hear them on my GP antenna. Should be workable, but running barefoot I don’t dream of breaking the pile-up…
great expedition !! very well done guys congrats !!
I agree this is a great Dxpedition and with such rugged terrain!
I cannot express how much I appreciate what the team is going through to put on this operation. An incredible feat under very difficult conditions and anyone that is bitching and complaining should just step back and ask themselves” Would I put up my money and time to go operate at this or any other place just so people can say they “worked a new one”. Ninety nine percent of the complainers probably would not. Be grateful these fine people are risking a lot to do this for you and stop complaining Did it ever occur to you that the fact you can’t get through may be on your end? Oh wait, that could never be it!
Thank you again guys, most of the operators out there do really appreciate what you are doing.
A really brilliant dxpedition… Well done to all the team and thanks for the contact..
absolutly !! a titan effort !well done to all the team !will make dx history !
