UPDATE / REMINDER: The T32 Team now have a website.
From 17 January to 2 February 2012, a team of six operators will be active from Kiritimati in Eastern Kiribati.
Each team member will operate with their own callsigns, with activity on 160m to 6m CW and SSB.
T32WW and T32CO will also operate both RTTY and PSK. The group will put in a full effort for the CQ WW 160m CW contest as T32XX.
The operators are
The team will operate from the same location as the recent T32C DXpedition.
I’m very frustrated by the way the operator in CW choose to work. I was listening very well here in Brazil and when I called I got: Only NA. After 10 minutes, called again and got: Only NA. Ok, wait some more time, and when I see they working Europe too I called again and got: Only NA and EU. Ok, waiting some more time and realize they are working Japan too. Called again and got: Only NA/EU and Japan!
Well, after 1:30h the propagation closed and who knows if South America had any chance. I understand the DXpedition want to contact areas when they get much more contacts, but ignore SA completely is not a good Ham radio pratice.
Maybe another time with another operator my luck will change.
Anyway, I appreciate the effort to carry a DX pedition like this.
