I hope you will be useful

Sorry, We have no capability for 160m and 6m operations. We like CW
more than SSB, and the low power we run, helps only CW working. Some
of our young men may try SSB. Pse wait and see.
We will certainly devote a few minutes calling “CQ W” only. Many US
hams have said that VU7 is not any more new, as they have QSLs from
the previous expedition of VU7NRO. Those who have VU7, pse give chance
to others who still dont have it.. .
All the DX may please understand that we are indeed “a REAL HUMBLE
STATION”, WITH NO AMPS, NO BEAMS, NO COMPUTER LOGGING, NO SPONSORS,
ETC.,. But, this is a “3-in-1″ special operation with IOTA. WLOTA, and
VUFF, which is quite a rare thing to come by. Many “NO”s, but,
conditions can only tell, how many “yes”s we may have. Hi.
Wish us, all the best of Solar activity so that we can exchange
reports with the few, who still need a VU7 QSO.

Hope to work VU7M as a new one in your first few days, before I leave for a Lighthouse/IOTA activation myself!
Any band or mode worked will be great.
Good luck and best success.

VU7 would be a new one for me on 40M. I will be looking for you there from my mobile as that is only HF I have. I will have my rosary beads with me.
Seriously VU7 would also be a new one from my mobile operations. Maybe 15M or 17M will give some propagation. Always tough from Texas to Indian Ocean area.
73 and GL
Best of luck. I will be looking hard as this would be a new one for me on any band or mode.

Good luck and good dx.
it would be nice to get one qso on cw for an all time new one before i die say on cw but given the deterioration in the quality of ops constantly calling on top and out of turn creating endless qrm i don’t have a lot of hope
By http://www.rsgbiota.org is VU7M Minicoy island AS106 DXCC only India ?
Thanks in advance
Michal how observant. RSGB needs to fix that listing. Minicoy was part of Maldives. 1956 vote of islanders joined India.
Farthest south in Laccadive chain or farthest north in Maldives chain. Either way, a great distance from the Indian coast.
FB Tony, good news , VU7 for me new ONE on 15m CW !
Many Thanks Best wishes
Thanks for the 20 meter QSO on August 12th @ 00:20 UTC. We had a very short opening but I made the best of it. Your operator was a very good CW man! That was also my first QSO with Lakshadweep!!
For a time you were operating simplex. There is too much QRM from stations calling so it’s very difficult to hear who you go back to. Please operate split frequency! 1 Khz spacing should be enough although2 is probably preferable.
73 and have a safe trip home,
Chris/NU1O
That should read the QSO was August 14th @ 00:20 UTC.
Thanks for 2 bands on CW. Signals were stronger than expected. Pretty good for 40w. You guys at VU7M rock!!! Aloha from Hawaii……….
Wish we could of had more time to help sponsor your efforts.

Was very lucky to get You on 40 meters CW last night. Was tuning the band and heard your first CQ on 7010,2 kHz.
Thanks a lot for a all time new country for me!
