He’ll be looking for RTTY contacts starting around 21:30z today, using a 20m dipole.

March 25 — David VY0/VE3VID is currently operating from the rare Igloolik Island NA-174.
He will remain there until end of March with a return scheduled for Sept/Oct 2013.
Currently, David uses a 20m dipole on RTTY, but has plans to use a multiband antenna upon his return. His work obligations determine activity, but generally will be on air after 21:00z and definitely weekends.
QSL cards will be designed using the attached image which was taken by David on Igloolik Island.
QSL route is via: 1653 Mountain Rd, R.R. #1 Westport, ON, K0G 1X0, Canada.
3 weeks time back home does not mean 3 weeks of operation
You can see on screen lots of errors but we can all read

David VE3VID does not seem to be very experienced operator in the pileups and he told me that he never expected to be sought after this much and to create huge pileups. He thought he would occasionally show up on the air to hand out new IOTA to few people but never expected to become this popular. As it turned out due to the rarity of NA-174 he is quite popular and he will do his best to work as many stations as possible.

So far In the three times that I have tried to work David on RTTY ….
He has been quickly over run by non stop callers and just went QRT.
If anyone will be able to work him he is going to have to operate split.
More fun for everybody.
Otherwise the few that will be able to work him will be the ones
that catch him calling CQ or at least before he is spotted.
Program that MMTTY macro David “UP 3-5″ maybe even ” UP 3-10″
