AD5A/KL5 & AB5EB/KL0 – Kalgin Island, NA-158

    Mike, AD5A and his two sons, Michael, AB5EB and Jake, KB5SKN will activate Kalgin Island, NA-158 in the Kenai-Cook Inlet Group. This island has been worked by less that 10% of island chasers. The expedition will be on the air sometime Friday, August 6th and will QRT mid-afternoon, local time, on Sunday August 8th. The operation will consist of two stations running 100 watts. The CW call sign will be AD5A/KL5 and the SSB call will be AB5EB/KL0. The team will go equipped to operate on 6m if the band opens up, but it will not be a priority. The QSL route will be announced as soon as it finalized.
