CQ Worldwide CW Amateur Radio Contest & Fund Raising for RNIB

    Terry, GA3WUXTerry, GA3WUX is seeking sponsorship for his entry in this year’s CQ WW CW  amateur radio contest. This event takes place for 48 hours during the weekend of 28 – 29 November. The object is to establish two-way contact with as many stations throughout the world as possible on six frequency bands. Terry be taking part from his home in Glasgow, UK where he made over 2000 contacts in the same event last year.

    All money raised will go to the Royal National Institute of Blind People .

    This year, with conditions still in the Doldrums, but with an improved station, Terry is looking to put in his best ever effort!

    Sponsors can donate a fixed amount or sponsor him per contact. To add a bit of fun, sponsors are invited to guess Terry’s final score – the closest guess will win a copy of “Catnav”, the latest CD from the British Computer Association of the Blind (BCAB). You’re also invited to take up Terry’s Million challenge, by offering a bigger donation if he breaks the million point barrier for the first time!
