    An amateur callsign is assigned to each Argentine Base – LU1ZA Orcadas [now also active]; LU4ZS Marambio; LU1ZG Belgrano; LU1ZI Jubany; LU1ZB Melchior; LU1ZS Camara; LU1ZC Decepcion; LU1ZV Esperanza; LU1ZR Petrel; LU1ZAB Matienzo; LU1ZD San Martin and the radio officers of the bases are officially allowed to appear anytime they want..
