Nathaniel, W2NAF is currently at McMurdo Station, Antarctica, and primarily active as KC4USV until December 30, 2014. (He may sometimes use KC4/W2NAF.)
He reports that each year the residents of McMurdo Station celebrate Christmas by singing carols to the remote, Antarctic field camps on HF radio. This year, they are asking ham radio operators around the world to listen in and e-mail short wave listening reports by telling them how far away the carols can be heard. Listen on 7995 kHz USB on 24 December 2014 2300z (December 25 1200 New Zealand Time) and e-mail reports to email@example.com.
